OK, most of them are unknown shitty independent mobile pixel-art titles, but we can find more or less famous old games for $/€/£0.99 or so, like Syberia, Car Mechanic Simulator, Yesterday Origins or Submerged, instead of 15. It's 90% discounts. And there are hundreds below 2.50.
Please be inspired by them, Microsoft.
95% of all Switch sales are junk, which are constantly on sale because they are junk, and that massively hinders discovery of quality titles, and Nintendo themselves rarely do discounts, and when they do it's no more than 30%.
Store sales do need to rethink their approach to offering sales, as more games release it becomes harder to adequately market the different kinds of sales going on and the games available. But the Nintendo eShop is by far the worst store and not one anybody should be inspired to follow.
